Product detail

Description

Jet A is the US ASTM D1655 civil turbine fuel used across North American airline and business-aviation fleets. Compared with Jet A-1 it allows a warmer freeze point (max −40°C), which is acceptable for most US routes but matters for cold-soak and Arctic method work.

This Fuel Shop SKU is packaged hazmat supply from Miami for laboratories, OEM benches and method validation, not into-plane uplift. Order a 5 USG jerrycan or 54 USG drum when listed, with CoA and SDS for receiving and export paperwork.

FAQ

Ordering & shipping

What is Jet A and which spec do you supply?

Jet A is the US civil turbine kerosene under ASTM D1655. Shop lots are packaged for laboratory and testing programmes, not into-plane airport retail.

How is Jet A different from Jet A-1?

Both meet ASTM D1655. Jet A-1 requires a lower freeze point (≤−47°C) and is the usual international grade; Jet A is more common in the US. Order the grade your protocol names.

Can I buy Jet A online in this shop?

Jet A is quote-only in the Fuel Shop. Request a quote for 5 USG pail or 54 USG drum packaging from Miami. CoA/SDS ship with confirmed orders.

Do you include CoA and SDS with Jet A?

Yes. Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) are provided with every confirmed Jet A shipment.

Where does packaged Jet A ship from?

From our Miami, USA warehouse. Hazmat freight (air, sea or road) is quoted separately after the fuel package is confirmed.

Who buys Jet A in the Fuel Shop?

Labs, OEM test cells and aviation testing programmes that need packaged US Jet A lots rather than airport into-plane supply.
