Product detail

Description

Jet B is a wide-cut aviation turbine fuel (naphtha–kerosene blend) used historically in cold climates and still specified for certain volatility and cold-start protocols. It is more volatile than Jet A-1 — flash point is substantially lower — so handling and hazmat controls differ from kerosene grades.

Order packaged Jet B when your test plan explicitly calls for wide-cut chemistry. Confirm freeze/volatility on the CoA; do not substitute Jet A-1 without rewriting the method.
